How long can we keep the castle?

You can keep the castle for the whole day.  Delivery and pick up times can be arranged to suit yourself.  We can deliver a castle to you from 8am onwards and can pick up at any time up to 8pm.

If you would like to keep the castle overnight, then there is an additional charge of £20.

What happens if it rains on the hire day?
All of our castles (except for the slide) come with a sewn in or detachable shower cover. The bouncy castle is not to be used if it gets too wet as it can be very dangerous. If it is very wet on your hire day you may cancel if you wish without charge. We reserve the right to do this also.
Do you deliver ?
Yes, we do deliver, free within a 10 mile radius of St.Albans, outside this there may be a delivery charge. Click here for more information .
Do you require a deposit?
No, we don’t require a deposit from you.
What happens on the day ?
We will deliver the castle to your venue at the time agreed with yourself. We will then inflate the castle and show you how to operate it safely. We will ask you to read the safety instructions and sign a copy. You have the best party ever ! We come and pick it up at the agreed time.
How many children can go on a castle at one time ?
It dependes on the size of the children ! However, we would recomend a maximum of 6 children on a 12x15 castle at the same time.
What do you need from us?
Please make sure we have plenty of access room, we need at least a 3 foot wide hall or passageway to move the bouncy castle into your venue. Please ensure that the site for the bouncy castle is clear. It must be clear of sharp objects such as rocks, any debris and large stones. If we feel that the site is unsuitable we will not leave the bouncy castle.
How much room does the bouncy castle require?
As a rule you will need about 5 feet behind the castle, 2 foot either side and enough space at the front for the children to enter and exit the castle safely.
Can the castle go indoors?
Yes, however we need to ensure there is sufficient ceiling height. The Mushroom castle is 6 feet tall, the Clowns is 9 feet tall, the Princess and Jungle Book are 13 feet tall and the slide, Tiger and Party are 15 feet tall.  
When can we hire a Castle?
Our bouncy castles are available for hire every day of the year. We can get very busy, particularly in the summer, so it is advisable to book early.

Do you have insurance?
We have £1 million public liability insurance covering accidents and injuries caused by our equipment failing or incorrect or unsafe installation. As the hirer, YOU are responsible for ensuring adult supervision of the inflatable at all times. 
What does the insurance cover?

The cover exists to provide protection to 3rd parties for any damage caused by our castle.

We must also warn the hirer that if any accident occurs from the hirers neglect to supervise, then the hirer will be FULLY responsible and no liability will be accepted by Bouncing Castles. 

Are there any age limits?

There is no age limit for our Tiger or Party castles. However, our other castles and slide have been manufactured for children up to the age of 11. If we find anybody over that age is or has been using the inflatable we will have to send it off for safety testing, this costs around £80 + any losses we may incur through not being able to hire the inflatable out. The hirer will be held responsible and will be expected to pay for all costs and losses incurred.

Can we collect the bouncy castle?
No, our insurance cover does not allow for you to collect OR erect any of our inflatables.
Are your castles clean?
Yes, we maintain our castles to a very high standard, they are cleaned regularly. Therefore we expect the castle to be returned in the same condition it was delivered. Please clean any marks etc prior to collection. Please read our hire agreement for full details of your responsibilities, a hardcopy of which will be supplied on the day of hire.
How much does it cost to run a bouncy castle?
On average it costs about a £1 in electricity to run a bouncy castle for a day.
Can we cancel if it rains?
We do not charge a cancellation fee and do not ask for a deposit. We require at least 24 hrs notice of a cancellation. However, we also reserve the right to cancel a booking (usually giving 24 hrs notice). This is usually due to adverse weather conditions and as these bouncy castles are “slippery when wet” and can be hazardous, we will ring you on rainy days to ensure you still require a castle.
